To pigeonhole Aske Jacoby in terms of genre is pointless. He has moved effortlessly in almost all genres and with his own sensibility, a unique sound and melodic perception.
All of which can be heard on the more than 450 releases he has worked on as a studio musician, with Sanne Salomonsen, CV Jørgensen and Thomas Helmig, 25 releases as a producer and 8 releases as a soloist.
He also owns the Giant Birch record label, which, in addition to Aske's own music, has released singer/songwriter Ginne Marker's debut album "For seasons to come".
The album has recently been rewarded with two Carl awards, the music publishers' award.
Martin Kongstad has a long career as a music critic, food critic, journalist at Politiken and Euroman, program director at Radio24syv and acclaimed author. He is currently working on a portrait book about Casper Christensen.
Martin also plays drums, and he and Aske have a shared past in the cult band Per Kristensen Band.
