Sound killers: large induction coils in speaker crossovers stifle music

Why does the music sound so alive?

Inside the SA speakers there is a crossover filter, as there is in all speakers.
But here it is different.

We have succeeded in developing a simple crossover filter without the large coils you normally find in such a filter.

Coils have one serious drawback:
They get in the way of music, like a roundabout gets in the way of traffic.

The coils dull the music.
They stifle the dynamics of the music.

That's why it's a real novelty that we develop crossovers without big coils.
The music goes straight out all the way through the speaker.

The road is shorter and the music sounds better.
