We develop our own custom-designed drive units

Custom technology for natural, dynamic sound

At System Audio, the loudspeaker driver is not just a component – it’s the heart of the listening experience. For more than four decades, we’ve been driven by an uncompromising approach to sound, where technology and musical understanding go hand in hand.

All our speakers are built with custom-designed drivers that require both engineering expertise and acoustic intuition – and this is exactly where we stand out.

Designed for pure musicality

Every System Audio speaker is built around drive units designed entirely in-house. We don’t settle for off-the-shelf components – our goal is always to create sound that feels natural, dynamic and alive.

We chase the sound

We develop our own drivers from scratch – each one with the single purpose of reproducing music naturally and vividly. Instead of letting technical specifications dictate the design, we listen our way to the optimal solution. Technology matters – but the ears have the final say.

Materials shape the sound

The choice of materials for cones, voice coils, and magnets is crucial to the character of the sound. We use lightweight cones that move quickly and precisely – essential for conveying musical detail – while carefully controlling damping and resonance so the driver doesn’t color the sound.

Integration and synergy

A driver must not only perform well on its own – it must work in harmony with the rest of the speaker. That’s why our acoustic engineers and electronics developers collaborate closely to ensure each driver performs optimally within its enclosure and with its supporting electronics. It’s the whole system that creates the magic.

Innovation with love for music

We think innovatively – but never for novelty’s sake. Innovation must serve the music. Our continuous research in digital signal processing and active speaker design ensures that every driver delivers the ultimate listening experience.
