Ole Witthøft

Stereo Hub HT users gain access to yet another premium streaming experience

Stereo Hub HT has now been updated with Qobuz Connect. This means that you – along with all other Stereo Hub HT users – gain access to yet another premium streaming experience, where sound quality, ease of use, and musical storytelling go hand in hand. The update is available immediately and requires no new equipment or additional hardware.

With Qobuz Connect, you can stream music directly from the Qobuz app to Stereo Hub HT in bit-perfect quality. Playback starts quickly, setup is simple, and you have full control directly from your phone, tablet, or computer. The result is a more intuitive and seamless experience – exactly how modern music streaming should be.

More than streaming – What is Qobuz?

Qobuz is more than just a music streaming service. It is a universe for music lovers, where sound quality, immersion, and insight are at the core.

The service offers:

  • Streaming in true High Resolution (24-bit / up to 192 kHz) without the use of compressing codecs
  • An extensive music library with millions of albums
  • Editorial content in the form of articles, guides, and artist portraits, available directly in the app and providing context, inspiration, and deeper knowledge about the music
  • The ability to purchase and download High Resolution albums if you prefer to own your music

As a Qobuz user, you also become part of an international music community, where quality is valued over quantity. You are invited into the world of music – not just as a listener, but as an active participant.

Within the app, you can explore articles about artists, album releases, and genres, and in your inbox you will regularly receive updates from “Jane from Qobuz”, sharing recommendations, new releases, and stories from the world of music.

Qobuz’s uncompromising approach to sound and music curation makes the service an ideal choice for discerning listeners.

A key part of the Silverback system’s upgradeability

The update with Qobuz Connect is yet another clear example of the upgradeability of the Silverback system. When you invest in a Silverback setup, you are investing in a system that can continuously evolve with new features, technologies, and improvements – without the need to replace speakers or add extra boxes.

This also applies to the DS versions of the Silverback speakers, which are fully compatible with high sound quality. Whether your system is new or from an earlier generation, you gain access to the same modern streaming features and the same high level of audio performance.

A better experience – at no extra cost

With Qobuz Connect, Stereo Hub HT takes another step toward bringing all relevant streaming technologies together in one place. The hub already supports Spotify Connect, Spotify Lossless, Tidal Connect, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Bluetooth, and is Roon Ready – and now also Qobuz Connect.

This allows you to freely choose the service that best matches your listening habits and musical engagement. All with a strong focus on sound quality and ease of use.

Already using Stereo Hub HT?

The new software is System version: 061 and Streaming version: CR443GP_3683, visible in the SA Cockpit app.  If your Stereo Hub HT has not yet been updated, you can either wait for the update to install automatically or disconnect the hub from power for approximately 15 seconds and then reconnect it. This will prompt the hub to download the update immediately. Installation takes a few minutes and must not be interrupted.

Please note that the Qobuz Connect update applies only to Stereo Hub HT and not to other hubs such as Surround Hub or Stereo Hub.
