Success: 500 guests brought the record fair to life

The last record fair at the speaker factory in Roskilde was fantastic, and with no less than 500 friendly guests, the event has grown up. The next record fair is already planned for Saturday, October 1, 2016 ... with even more surprises on the program ... so mark your calendars!

The record fair at the Loudspeaker Factory is a lot of good stuff mixed in a new way. A loudspeaker factory mixed with 25 enthusiastic record collectors. A café and a venue. A concert and an author. Lectures on music, as well as expert contributions on turntables and speakers.

All the ingredients have the music in common, but the most important one is of course the knowledgeable and friendly guests who create the good atmosphere.

The record fair featured live music as Copenhagen's Mother Lewinsky gave a mini-concert in the warehouse. The concert was organized in collaboration with the venue Gimle, and it will not be the last time a concert is held at the loudspeaker factory.

The author Jan Poulsen and his books on music provide vitamins for the brain when the fingers get tired of flipping through records. His lectures on different artists are a recurring event that guests love.

The record fair is about music and its many expressions, such as lectures on music and books.

A treat for the autograph hunters. As something unique, Jan Poulsen had brought 10 books about Dizzy Mizz Lizzy ... signed by the band's three members!

Turntable expert Klaus Reibcke's talks in the Listening Room draw full houses as guests hear the differences between turntables and get useful advice on good sound.

Café Freunde is the gathering place of the record fair. Guests enjoy delicious coffee and homemade raspberry shortcakes, and swap anecdotes about music.

Henrik Høxbro is a speaker expert and his surprising presentations of speakers send guests home with the desire to do something about the sound at home, because, for example, the location of the speaker in the living room is crucial to the music experience.

Ready to board. 23 record sellers filled a total of 50 meters of table space with vinyl records of all genres... and with everything from collector's items to cheap finds.

The record fair takes place at the warehouse of System Audio A/S in Roskilde, where tables with tens of thousands of vinyl records offer music for everyone.

You can't do this with Spotify! Meet others and exchange anecdotes.

When the record fair opens at 10.00, the first collectors flock to the fair. Many also arrive early to secure a place in the Listening Room.

Liberating. There are releases on vinyl that have not been subject to market research or any other kind of thought ....
