When you take a closer look at the SA mantra 70, the first thing you notice is that it carries all the qualities that SA has earned respect for through years of focused speaker development and design.

Small fast speaker devices

Our trademark is the specially developed bass speakers, which, thanks to their lightweight membranes, reproduce the music's deepest tones with incredible precision. Secondly, their long stroke allows them to move air that would otherwise require much larger woofers. The combination of speed and stroke length is unique.

Innovation for the benefit of sound

SA mantra 70 is an innovation when you look at the special MTM configuration that reproduces midrange and treble. Here, the sound is radiated so that sound reflections are reduced to a minimum. The combination of four powerful woofers and an MTM configuration is the first you've seen in an SA speaker. It's an innovation that once again pushes the boundaries and brings you one step closer to the music and the live and genuine experience of the performers.

The man and the mantra

System Audio A/S was founded in 1984 by Ole Witthøft, because he couldn't find any speakers that could meet his demands to feel close to the artists when listening to music at home.

He had discovered that loudspeakers must be constructed and designed according to a system after which the company is named.

Reduction as a design philosophy

Every SA speaker begins its life on Ole's desk, and although some of the world's leading experts in acoustics, mechanics and electronics are involved in product development, a new speaker is only put into production when Ole is satisfied with it. One of Ole's philosophies is about reduction in every sense of the word. Or put another way: the importance of concentrating on the essentials. On the outside of the speaker you see reduction, as an absence of frills and crumbs. Inside the speaker you see reduction as an obvious simplicity of construction. It's also reduction that drives us to reduce the weight of the moving mass of our speaker elements, because it makes for better sound. When we reduce the speaker's dependence on room acoustics, it's also a way of using philosophy. It's a waste of user resources to complicate things. Simplifying every little detail optimises the experience.
