 The FS3 speaker stand is everything an ordinary speaker stand isn't. It’s elegant, practical and has good sound quality.

FS3 raises compact speakers to a height that produces the best possible sound quality. But it does more than that. It hides the speaker cable by passing it through the body of the stand. Of the two fixtures available with each stand, one angles the speaker slightly upwards, while the other directs the speaker out into the room, optimising the angle for your sitting position. Depending on how hard your floor is, you can mount the stand on the accompanying spikes or rubber feet. Protective coverings for the spikes are also included.

When the speaker and the FS3 stand are screwed together, the whole unit becomes far more solid and structurally stable than ordinary stands, where the speaker is just placed loosely on top. You can hear this stability in the form of greater sound clarity.

FS3 is made of aluminium, a more suitable material for speaker stands than iron, for example. Speakers contain an electronic circuit called a crossover network, which is sensitive to electric induction. A stand made of iron, which is magnetic, will reduce the impact of the crossover network, and the speaker will not sound correct. FS3 makes your speakers sound far better than any stand made of iron.

The stand's special upper surface has different-sized holes that are compatible with most SA compact speakers. One particularly clever feature is the four holes that make up the so-called VESA 100 standard, which means that FS3 also fits many of the market's flat-screen TVs. It is easy to imagine an interior in which the FS3 is used for both the flat screen in the middle and the front speakers on each side of the TV.
